Fibers of the Santa Rita Prickly Pear, carefully harvested from the heart of the desert, rest upon fossil wood—an echo of the Sonoran desert’s ancient whispers. Anchored in Arizona petrified wood from the Triassic period, over 250,000,000 million years ago. Hand-painted in delicate layers of transparent acrylic, and given an archival museum finish to ensure years of luminous color, bridging time and earth’s enduring artistry.
